{Elfin} Lakes to Swim In, A Forest to Snooze In

earthly splendor on the elfin lakes hiking trail

we do things without always knowing how they’ll turn out.

hiking 23 km with friends and our 15 month old babe,

we enjoyed awesome mountain views from the late summer alpine,

sighting a lone black bear and several friendly grey jays.

just before the turn around point, we took pleasure in a well-earned feast.

everyone shared,

everyone created a memory of the iridescent waters of elfin lakes.
